Choosing a gaming laptop

Hello, I am looking for a gaming laptop that is relatively light and has decent battery life (when off the charger and not gaming). So far I really like these options

I own a gigabyte laptop currently and after a boatload of problems with it I really don't want to purchase another gigabyte latop. What are your opinions on these two and are there others that you would recommend?

It's better to look for a laptop with a GTX1060. It's equal or better than that.

I don't really want to spend more than $1300. Looking at this computer it seems like a great deal. Will the 3gb vram make a difference when playing games like world of warships?
