Cisco Packet Tracer server software function

There s a question for a table of chocolate in my class.In Cisco Packet tracer when you use a server you can choose software for it.For what good is it in the program?(operating system,wireless billing,medical,business,managemant, etc)Any help?I like chocolate...

I would assume that it's so you can filter out certain types of traffic from servers, such as a wireless billing server, for security purposes or for exercises. You don't want secure information going through networks that may not be secure enough to keep them private.
