I currently have a KRK Rokit 6 pair and a separate subwoofer connected via the aux port to my laptop (Mac), they are both running through one audio splitter. I wish to also purchase some bluetooth speakers to dot around my apartment in order to give a surround sound. Will the bluetooth speakers run alongside the wired speakers or will it cancel out the audio output from the AUX?
Thanks

You won't get surround sound without a surround processor..
You can spread the sound around though. If your laptop has bluetooth then you may be able to use this software

http://www.chevolume.com/
to route the audio to both the aux out and BT of the laptop.
You can also add another splitter to the one you have (giving you three stereo outputs) and connect a BT transmitter.

I believe, that it will cancel one or the other, depends on which one is connected second (So it'll cancel the AUX) I'm sure there's probably some software out there, or another way such as a AUX Splitter where the Bluetooth output is connected too, as well as the speakers.

But yeah, if you connect Bluetooth, it'll cancel the AUX unless you work a way around it.

I found this thread with people with a similar issue: http://www.tomsguide.com/forum/57183-6-make-bluetooth-speakers-computer-speakers-play-simultaneously
