Component video on microphone input?

Hi, i have lenovo laptop, and i want to get video from my sattelite reciver on my laptop screen.
I have audio line-in input, i think that composite video and line-in are both analog, is possible to connect video output to audio input, and then decode it using some software?
If not, is it impossible, because there is not any software for that, or is it impossible because hardware issue?

If you want video input, you will have to add hardware. There are USB video input devices which will handle analog video.

Yes, i know, but i want it cheapest way. so, is it impossible using line-in?

No. My statement stands as previous. You will have to add hardware. Video and audio are completely different signals even if they are both analog. AM and FM radio are both analog signals but you can't listen to FM stations on an AM radio. Same principal applies here.
