Hi all,
Sort of new to setting up audio and my new TV doesn't allow the controlling off the volume when connected to external speakers and my speakers (Redback C0929) to a 4 Channel amp. The speakers only have RCA input. How can I connect them directly to the amp? I have seen adapters but the seem to do the opposite of what I am looking for. Thanks.

There is no point in connecting those speakers to an external amp. The unpowered speaker connects to the stereo amp in the powered one with speaker wire.
Sounds like you need a volume control to adjust output of the TV. If the TV has a headphone jack use that since it will be controlled by the TV volume. Just need a cable with 3.5mm stereo plug at TV end and stereo RCA plugs at the speaker end.
If you don't have a headphone jack you can add a volume control between the TV and the speakers. It could be a manual control or one with remote.

Thanks for the response. Is there definitely no way to connect the speaker to an amp? The volume control option with the remote sounds like a good option. Could I use it to control the amp as well So: TV>Volume Control and then get some splitters to connect 2 different amps and then the passive and active speaker? Would there be a loss in quality? Thanks again!
