Hi all,
I have Kenwood KRF V5050D and I would like it to be connected to Altec Lansing VS3251 5.1 speaker system. The problem is the speaker system takes 1 aux input or 3 auxiliary inputs for Front L/R, Rear L/R and Sub/Center. Now output of the AV Receiver are in a different way as shown in the picture below. Also the receiver has a dedicated sub pre-out and I have no clue how wire sub and center into 1 3.5 mm aux cable.

Can anyone advise me on how to get around connecting AV Receiver to the speaker system. Thanks in advance.

Gopi

Are you planning to hook up a computer to the receiver and speakers?

The speakers are computer speakers and already powered so no need for the receiver. Plus your receiver doesn't have pre-outs to feed a 5.1 signal to the speakers. So hopefully your computer has analog outputs for the fronts mains, sub/center and surround speakers. You can use the rec out if you just need stereo(2.0)

Happy surround, the Prisoner...
