connecting sound bar

Hi trying to connect a samsung sound bar to a SONYBRAVIA KD55X8509C Smart 3D Ultra HD 4k 55" LED TV been sold gold hdmi leads x 2 but getting no sound hdmi cable is in the arc hdmi port.

You may need to go into the TV's settings and tell it the audio out is HDMI ARC.
