Corsair HS-1 Headset

Hey all, so I needed a new headset right... I got the Corsair HS-1 (85$) - Now I'm enjoying amazing sound quality through this headsets integrated USB 50mm Drivers!
But the mic is filled with static though - No problem I have a 140$ Studio Mic, plus Logitech C910 webcam mic which is amazingly good considering it's on a webcam.
If anyone has any idea how to fix the mic, please respond! - Highly appreciated!

I have to say, Roccat Kave, Logitech G35 or Steelseries 5H\7H Can't really compare.
I will be doing a review for dreamvoid.com on the Corsair HS-1 Headset pretty soon, as well as unboxing. I just need to get my old graphics card so I can fire up my previous PC (I just built a new one, but didn't order a GFX Card)


Now, I forgot why I was creating this thread...but yeah.. that's probably it.
Oh, and, The built quality of the HS-1 Is amazing, compared to other headsets!

microphone static is usually distortion, and distortion in a mic is cured by turning the mic level down, or back off from the microphone.
another mic may just do the same thing if used the same way.
