Solved! cost being paid for directv

I am 81 and feel directv is ripping me off. I DON'T WATCH MOVIES, SPORTS, ETC. and I am being ripped off for 110. 43. this is horrible charge for a few channels. I was told I had to pay that amount because they have to include everything. I am going to see what the other companies charge and get rid of directv. They have rude people working for them also. Hopefully after looking at other companys I can get a lower bill. This price I pay sucks for the few channels I watch.

I tried that but got no where. I will try again and ask for a supervisor but know I am wasting my time. I know I am being ripped off and they want to keep that money in their pockets. sorry butts. thanks for your help. I asked what could I delete to lower the bill and was told nothing. I don't want sports, movies, etc.

It sounds like you might be happy getting your TV for free.
Depending on where you live you may be able to get 20-40 stations over the air.
A DTV antenna is all you need.

I have some kind of thing hooked up to my tv that allows me to watch local programs. duh. Nothing that I like to watch but can save some things when the others go down. have a great day.
