yep, in my state no emissions either, jsut winshield and functioning headlights/brakelights

and yea its your hardware, you can jailbreak it all you want... its only illegal once you start putting in software you didn't pay for

But guess what, the car has to pass emissions and inspections, meaning it can't be too low, or the lights can't be too bright, tint can't be too dark, exhaust can't be this or that or its too loud. Your car only has to comply with those laws one day a year. I put in a Ford 289 so I can get my inspection sticker. When I get home, We start on put the Boss 9 back in. There is no way that big block can pass emissions. Some think its too much, but overall it takes me half a day to get the engine out and back in. Been doing this on several cars over the years.
