Hello,

I have a Gateway netbook (no disk drive, only USB) which I'd like to restore to factory settings. The manufacturer (Acer) sent me "Recovery *Disks*". Yes, disks. Three of them. They do appear to contain the reinstall files I need. However, how do I get the files from the disks onto either a) a single bootable usb flash drive, or b) three usb flash drives? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I have used the "Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool", so I'm somewhat familiar with that process, but it involved a single disk, and I'm not really a technoid. Not sure if that'll help/work in this case.

Solution
If you have a key get one of these the same version http://www.askvg.com/direct-download-links-download-official-original-and-untouched-windows-7-iso-32-bit-and-64-bit/

Then add it thru Rufus http://rufus.akeo.ie/ It MAY work

Or you can use Rufus but you would have to create an ISO out of the disks you've got first
