Creative Inspire T3100

Okay, so I just bought the Creative Inspire T3100 sound system, comes with the subwoofer and two little speakers. Anyways, it was really easy to set-up, I followed the instructions perfectly. However, the left speaker (the one with no volume control, just a separate speaker by itself) is not making any sound. I have it hooked up properly, and have checked the connection and checked it again. Help?!

ok, so out of curiousity i just unplugged from the output on the back of my computer, and plugged into the headphone jack on the front of it, and both speakers work fine...
