Solved! Deleted Standard PS/2 keyboard by mistake while trying to fix keyboard. Help? How to install it again

My laptop suddenly stopped working. While searching the internet for solutions, one said delete and use a driver installer to download it again. Well, deleting was successful. Installing again doesn't work. How do I get back my Standard PS/2 keyboard driver installed? I am using an asus Gl702VT . I tried multiple driver installer softwares, some wouldn't find any missing drivers, some would and update it but it still doesn't show in the device management section. I have also attempted to change the regedit start file from 3 to 1. Did not help. Turned off NET framework, did not help.

Am I missing something here? I really don't want to format the laptop. Any ideas? Thanks!

reinstall chipset and ATK drivers as well as the Intel Management Engine Interface
from the support homepage of your laptop:
https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-GL702VT/

if this won´t help
restart windows
get into the device manager
show hidden devices

eventually scan for hardware changes

I was able to get the driver to work and install using the process you mentioned. Yet the keyboard doesn't work. I know that there is no physical damage to the keyboard because it still does light up and the power/start button works but nothing else does. Any ideas on how to fix the keyboard not working issue? At the moment i am using an external keyboard connected via usb.
