Dell Inspiron 5110 won't boot

Team,

Suddenly my Dell Inspiron 5110 laptop won't boot, after dell screen, just a cursor blinking in the top left. I tried restart several times but no use.

I had run the diagnostic tests, test results are passed. Also i did Thorough test mode on Hard disk, results are passed.

Just want to add, i am running windows 10 in this laptop from 2015 (no issues till now). And yesterday i have uninstalled the Renesas USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller -0.96, because its not working and i reinstalled it, still that slot didn't work. SO, after that i shut down the system. Next day this thing happens, won't boot after dell screen. Is this problem related to this ?


Can any one help me on this issue ?

Check the drive mode in the BIOS, change it to whatever it's not. If it's set to RAID, try AHCI, if AHCI, try Legacy (or it may be ATA)

If you are talking about SATA operation, previously it was AHCI, I changed to ATA. Still same problem. Again I changed back to AHCI.

Please help me on this. It has lot of valuable data.
