Dell PC to Sony TV with HDMI - Why does my PC goes into "Energy Saving Mode"?

When the Dell PC is connected (via HDMI) to Sony TV - Why does my PC goes into "Energy Saving Mode"?

In this mode, the screen is black so I cannot access files to display on the TV (the TV displays the PC's desktop)

Have you tried adjusting the power saving options in Control Panel\System and Security\Power Options ?

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yes, all Power Options set at "Never".

Are you sure it isn't the TV going into "Energy Saving Mode" because it isn't receiving a signal from the PC?
