Dell XPS 13 2014 vs Asus Zenbook UX301la

I am looking to buy a laptop and have come stuck in-between the two of these.

I plan to use it for school work so the battery life has to be at least 4 above 4 hours and the keyboard be nice as well. I also plan to use it for traveling so light gaming (mostly older titles) and entertainment.

Personally I'd go with the Dell - Asus has a good reputation but based on specs the XPS should be a bit faster while offering better power efficiency (so better battery life).

What's the max budget you can afford for a laptop? If you like it, go for it.
