Dell XPS m1730 no display

Thanks for taking the time to read this. So, I have been given a xps m1730 by a friend who told me it was dead, and I was free to mess around with it. Once I got it and began tinkering, however, I began seeing signs of life. If I use diagnostics mode (pwr+Fn) it will give me a beepy-flashy code of 1-4-1. However, I have not been able to find what it means anywhere on the internet. I was wondering if anyone might know what it means and/or where to find a code list.
