Devices Infected and IPs

This is rewlly stupid I guess but can a hacker with an ip adress (external) go through your devices? Aka infect them and add some rootkit?

Yep - hackers can do almost anything. That's why we have Anti Virus software

If a hacker get's into your system they can do as they please, AV software might catch any software they plant, if they access the rig as say a remote user, you need to kill the connection and tighten up your security - firewall on, etc

At least I have a firewalls up, that actually blocked all the attempted dos attacks..
