distorted headset sounds

hello guys i recently purchased the steelseries siberia v2 heat orange and i have to say that they are an excellent piece of hardware BUT there is one miron lets say ''problem'' with them that kinda annoys me when i speak with a friend via skype or curse voice they sound a little distorted from my left headset speaker and when i say distotred i mean that high frequency distortion you hear when you amp up your headphones a bit to much and they cant handle it. That as a thing does annoy me but the main reason im posting this is because i find it strange that it only happens when i talk to someone or when i see a video that has no backround music for exampe when i hear songs there is no problem but as soon as i switch to skype or a video with no music that annoying sound comes back

Sounds like a defect in the product. You should contact Steelseries and see about sending the headset back for a new one.
