Question Downloads wont save to my sd card Samsung Active Tab A3?

I have a 512GB sd card, and I need to download a bunch of PDFs and other files, so I choose the sd card when I go to download, and it says sd card is an option, but when I download the file, then go search the sd card, the file isn't found. What am I doing wrong?

What if you use the file manager and go directly to the SD card to look for the file instead of doing a search?
