Using Windows Explorer on my PC, I can navigate to Mobile Device>My Pocket
PC>Databases. There is a system folder in there ("FLDR 1001516") that I
have figured out is the "Deleted Items" folder in the Active Sync Inbox
account on my Axim x3i. I have a stranded email in my Deleted Items folder
on my Axim that I cannot move, delete or open. The databases folder does
not show up using the Axim File Explorer or a registry editor (I am using
Kilmist 2.5). I can only see the databases folder with Windows File
Explorer but I cannot edit the contents of any of the system folders,
including FLDR 1001516. Is there a way to edit this folder so I can delete
the corrupted/orphaned email stuck in my Deleted Items box? (I have tried
various other means to delete this file including uninstalling ActiveSync,
creating new partnerships, soft resets, etc. I did do a hard reset but
restored my programs from a backup and of course the problem email
returned - I am trying anything but a hard re-set and reinstall of all
programs although by now it probably would have taken less time!). Thanks
for any advice.
