error 0x80070052 the directory or file cannot be created

What can i do to get rid of the error. I have put songs onto my sandisk memory card. When i went to put on more songs that error came up.

Did you put the existing songs on the card using the player or a card slot on a computer ? Are you trying to put further songs on in a different way to the existing songs. ?

I ask this because it is common for memory cards to get upset when pictures are stored using one camera and then the card is transferred to another camera. Because different cameras may use slightly different ways of storing files.
