External video card setup problems

Hi all! I got a lenovo thinkpad T510 with dedicated video card, what's happening is the external video card ( gtx960 asus atrix, start when I start the pc but is not recognized. I'm running it on the expresscard port.

Umm, that's a PCI-e graphics card and won't connect directly to a notebook. Are you using some sort of conversion hardware, or did I look up the wrong card?
