File Systems - FAT32

Hi I was just doing some research about the FAT32 file system. I was told from a computer scientist that FAT32 has a max partition size of 2TB, but from what I am reading online it says the max partition size is 32GB? Which one is right, are there different types of FAT32?

2TB is right. Theoretically it can address 8TB of clusters. The 32GB limit is only a driver limitation of windows 2000. You can read and mount a larger volume, but cannot create one.

It can support more than 32GB partitions, it is just Windows limiting you.
