Hello,
i got a ibm thinkpad t42 windows xp and cannot use the wireless function n my device manager there are ? by other devices and by network controllers

Hi there is a patch called no-1802 located at http://static.command-tab.com/2006/no-1802/no-1802-cd.zip you will need to burn this and boot from CD, this will change a bit in your BIOS to accommodate non-whitelisted wifi cards. Good Luck!!

If you are just looking for a driver I suggest getting SIW FREE http://download.cnet.com/SIW/3000-2094_4-10326678.html this will identify all components in your system and then you can look for the correct driver...
