Flashing power light on sharp aquos LC-37D44U after replacing mainboard

I have replaced the main board of my sharp aquos lc-37d44u but it still wont turn on. The power light flashes and the tv doesnt do anything else

It just flashes continually. I suspect the tv may need to be reset. If so, do you know how this is done?

chapter 5 says you have to update the software when you replace the mainboard

try unplug for 12 secs then push and hold pwr button plug back in after 12 more sec release pwr button
