So recently i bought the Logitech G430's and didn't like the USB adaptor that comes with the headset ( because it sounds like the footsteps in certain games come from behind me yada yada ) anyway i tried using the 2 front jacks that are on the front of my Corsair 700D case. The audio jack works fine other then some interference hissing noise which if i adjust the volume just right works fine and sounds great, although the microphone isn't recognised :?

i have uninstalled the sound blaster and tried reinstalling but everytime the computer restarts the sound blaster is back and no changed and the mic is still broken

I opened the pc last night and checked and it seems to be plugged in fine although the corsair does thread the front panel cables through an awkward angle in the back , the front audio is plugged in and the front panel usb slots and everything else
