New box opened G933 headset. Works well with wire, but when I plugged in the USB wireless adaptor to PS4 there was no lights nor action. Tested same adaptor in USB slot on computer, still no lights. Do I need to activate this thing or does this sound like a defective USB?

Solution

I would return it for a replacement/refund.
If you still want to try troubleshooting, give an email to logitech support and see if they can work it out for you.

PlayStation setup (settings)
1. Plug in headset via USB or 3.5mm cables
2. Open Settings
3. Select “Sound and Screen”
4. Select “Audio Output Settings”
5. Set “Output to Headphones”
to “All Audio”

My PS4 acknowledges the 3.5 hook up but regarding the USB stick it won't acknowledge the plug in, sound and screen won't give me the option to go to "All Audio" and the stick it self shows no lights, red or "G" lighting up.

You could try repairing the device. If you still have issues then I would return for a replacement/refund.

Suztera,

After hooking up 3.5, and going into Audio Output Seetings the only option it gives me is 1. Primary Output Port (HDMI out or Digital out ((optical)) 2. Audio Format (Priority) With Linear PCM, Bitstream (Dolby or Bitstream (DTS) for the choices??
