I own an ASUS gaming laptop with the following specs:
GTX 1050 Ti GPU
i7 8750H CPU
16GB Ram
120Hz Monitor

I bought it one month ago, and it was working fine. Now, after a few window updates and stuff like that, it started underperforming (low fps) where my fps would drop about 20-50% (50 avg fps on Fortnite, can drop down to 80 on LoL when it's just a 2v2 with some minions). Some games have 40-50% CPU-GPU usage and others 90-100% (like fortnite) (Temperatures are also normal, with CPU reaching 85C max. and roughly 75 avg when gaming, 45 when idle and 55 when plugged in)

I tried returning the laptop back to the previous windows version, tried uninstalling and reinstalling gpu drivers (not with DDU or programs like that), I've even tried a reinstallation of windows itself, yet nothing fixes the issue. I think it might have been underperforming from the beginning (max. 150fps on lol and csgo) but now it's way too low.

What could the issue be? Faulty hardware, dust? What can I do to fix it? Thank you

Alright, how do I make sure I am on the latest update, and if not how do I update it?
