Gateway computer will not boot.

Gateway computer will not boot.
It was hung up on Windows "Welcome" screen after I tried to login. I had to power down and restart. Now it will not boot.
After the "Gateway" screen it says:

Broadcom UNDI PXE-2.1 v12.2.0
Copyright (C) 2000-2009 Broadcom Corporation
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
All rights reserved.
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM.
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

Any help is appreciated

Your laptop is trying to boot via the network adapter because it can't find any other bootable devices.

Either the hard drive has failed or you need to re-install Windows with the Factory Recovery process.

Thank you Phillip,

I confirmed my hard drive is still alive by removing it and plugging it into another machine. I was able to read files off of it without any issue.

I'm having problems trying to recover Windows. From what I've read I have to hold down Alt+F10 while the computer is starting. When I try this the computer just beeps at me and restarts. Then the same message as above comes up.

Any advice for how to recover?

I factory recovery doesn't work I don't know what else to suggest.
