GPU sky high prices

I know the prices of mid and high end GPU's have been overly priced recently but I was wondering if there was anywhere I could buy a new GTX 1070 for a reasonable price. I would prefer not a used one but I guess I could deal with it

Spend the extra $100 and get a 1080 they are actually cheaper than they were a while ago due to the fact they mine worse than a 1060

Before mining, prices on the 1080 tanked because If it made sense to push budget up from 1070 to 1080, it was an even easier decision to go from 1080 to 1080 Ti.... so peeps have been ignoring the 1080 and with supply high, prices have stayed low making it the new best bang for the buck in many instances. her's one with $150 worth of EK Water block and backplate for $550

Unfortunately, for the 1070 ... for the models most folks want (Gigabyte G1 / MSI Gaming X) ... supply is low and therefore prices are high
