Hard restart won't work, screen black.

I literally just bought an HP Stream 11 and I was typing and installing updates and the keyboard went out. So I thought restarting it might help. Turns out it didn't do anything and now the screen is fully black and holding down the power button doesn't do anything. I want just going to wait until it died, but do I have any other options? What if it doesn't start up again?

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Do a hard reboot, unplug the laptop from its AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- If it will still not boot to the normal desktop screen you may need to run a Factory Reset.
- If the laptop came in with a factory reset disc or USB use it to reinstall Windows.

- If after reinstalling Windows will still not work I would suggest contacting HP for a repair or return it to the store where you bought it from.
