So you have a Verizon phone, not a Metro one? It likely will not work, you may be able to get it working if you can install the MetroPCS hotspot app but there is no separate setup for that in the Play Store, and even then it may not work. There are 3rd party hotspot apps though, but many of them have lots of bad reviews so if you go that route, make sure you do some research.
