hdmi splitter recommendation?

We recently upgraded to comcast X1 platform and older tv only has on hdmi port - i need that for the cable box now - - also have a dvd player I would like to connect and it needs an hdmi port. I purchased one but the cable box did not have enough power to operate it without having the dvd powered on - So can you recommend a 2x1 hdmi splitter - that is automatic - and that has its own power source with enough power to operate the cable/tv
