GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 630M 1GB
Chipset: Mobile Intel® HM77 Express Chipset
RAM: 4GB DDRIII, 2 slots(Max 8GB)

Thanks jaguarskx! by the way, upon checking the voltage of RAM in the Gigabyte's site, they said that the processor is at 1.5V. Should I get the similar voltage for my laptop?

Hi jaguarskx,

Upon checking my RAM, i found this specifications. What will be the best brand for me to buy which will give me the best performance increase?

Transcend 4GB
1333 Mhz
1.5V

That seems to be an odd choice of RAM to use in an ultrabook because it the RAM uses 1.5v instead of 1.35v which reduces battery life.

The least expensive solution would be to buy another stick of the same type of RAM; 1333MHz and 1.5v.

The more expensive option is to buy two sticks of DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 1.35v RAM. Mixing different speed RAM would generally mean the faster RAM will work at the slower speed. However, mixing RAM that uses different voltages... I don't know what would result.

Regarding brands, see my 1st post.

Is it ok/safe if I put two sticks of DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 1.35v RAM to the 1.5v socket? Even though the default RAM installed in my system is only has 1333Mhz and 1.5v?
