Help needed in replacing dell Vostro 1400 notebook graphics cad

Hi...my Vostro 1400 8400GS card went bust a few days ago . my warranty expired also. So i want to know how to dismantle the card from my lap ,so i can replace it with a new one..eh also heard that dell gpx cards cannot be bought outside dell..is that true.Where can i find a replacement for mine..thanks in advance

It may or may not be integrated into the motherboard. Dell, in any case, will be able to sell you a card/motherboard.

Just take the notebook apart. There's no manual for doing so- all notebooks are different.
