Help needed with windows boot

Need assistance for my desktop. I bought a new hard disk and after 3 days of usage the OS won't load istead a black screen with blinking cursor at the top left corner.
Please help.

I installed windows os on my new hard disk and then made partitions and installed necessary softwares but after 2 days. Today morning when i powered on my pc.... After the motherboard screen a black screen with a cursor blinking on the top left corner of the screen appeared.
Even formatting and reinstalling the OS didn't work.
Please help.

My configuration -
1 TB seagate baracuda HDD
1 x 8 GB Kingston Hyperxfury gaming ram
Intel i3 3140 3.4Ghz processor
Gigabyte B85M DS3H motherboard.

Please remove the cables from HDD. Plug the HDD on anyother SATA port on the mobo. Make sure that HDD is recognized in the BIOS and is your first boot drive in boot order sequence.
