hello, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I recently deleted the partition to one of my HDDs that I shouldn't have, it contained a lot of personal data that i need.
Now i am running file recovery software on this drive, and imagine i should be able to get 99% of it back, (the drive was not used or re-written etc after deleteing the partition)
my only worry is that I need the folder structure that was in place before, it is vital for the type of files, and cannot be done by hand.

I've never used file recovery software before, but will it do this once its finished?
I am currently using GetDataBack for NTFS V4.25

help is very much appreciated.

I am no expert (or even experienced in this matter) but since i just delete the partition and nothing else to the drive, most of the data should still be there right?

So after waiting hours (~3+) this software (GetDataBack for NTFS) seems to have found everything that i previously thought lost, however when i try to extract any of this data, it asks me to upgrade to a licensed version, and then promptly crashed.

Just a heads up, this software is great! 10/10!
