Help Tablet being stupid

Hi. Please help me, whenever I open an app on my Galaxy Tab A If freezes within a minute or right away and won't power down or reset!

Any Troubleshooting Tips?

Try starting it up in "Safe Mode". It will limit what you can access, but if what you can access works fine, then you know you have something on the tablet that is the cause. Bad app, bad update, virus, malware, etc. that you will need to remove before the tablet will work normally again.

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.

HI WebWorkings. Thank you for your answer, but like I said, my tablet won't power down. When I try to, It turns back on a minute later as iof I only put it in sleep mode

Are you sure a button isn't stuck? That can easily cause that.

And, yes I understood about the trouble turning off. However if it turns off at all, then it should be able to get into "Safe Mode" it doesn't have to be off for a long period or anything. If it powers off fully, even for just a short bit, then it should be able to do it.
