I have a Sony SA-W2500 and it has a line out but the cable is too small for my sound card in my computer I don't know the exact model, but will find it if needed, it's a ASUS sound card around $30. Not sure what cables to buy or what kind of amplifier i need.

Solution
Your sub seems to have a single RCA input connector. Mobos usually have a stereo mini jack for the center and sub connection which is yellow. So you need a cable with a stereo mini plug at one end and 2 RCAs at the other. You will only use one of the RCA for the sub. Then you will have to set up your sound card for the correct number of channels.
