Solved! how can i add a cd/dvd drive to toshiba satellite c55

It didn't come with one but has the space plate. Can i install a CD/DVD writer

Assuming there's physically space inside, you should just be able to remove the plate (likely after removing the underside cover) and slide an optical drive in.

You have to be a bit careful when ordering ... the C series doesn't use the same one as the A and B series.

Portable dvd burners work great and are probably cheaper.
