Solved! How can i connect an exsisting cd/dvd burneron a laptop

I have an emachine E725 and it tells me my CD/DVD player is dsiconnected. How can I reconnect it???

Check to see if the BIOS sees it

Go to setup (F2) on boot up and see if it's listed under Drives
