my tv samsung m5570 doesn't connect to sony tz145 as the home theater doesn't support optical input and my stb is connected to tv by rca cable

Option 1
If the stb has analog audio outputs then connect those directly to the HTS. You can split the outputs if you want the option of the TV speakers working too.
Option 2
Get an optical to analog converter. Check the TV manual on how to use the optical output. You may need to turn it on, turn the TV speakers off, and change the audio to PCM in the TV menu.
