How can I get the time and date back on the home page of my RCA 7" tablet?

The time and date disappeared from the home page of my 7" RCA tablet. I've restarted several times, investigated everything in settings to do with time or screen, tried standard extensions and apps, and it's fully updated, but no luck. How can this be solved? --------- It's an RCA Voyager, model number RCT6873W42M, Android 6.0.
