How can I retrieve my forgotten password on my cell phone, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active ?

I set up a password for my new cell phone when I first got it. Unfortunately I forgot it, but I tried and tried and tried over a hundred times. It didn't work at all. I called Samsung support but they said they wouldn't do that, then I called AT&T, they said the same. Now why in the world there's nobody can help? I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.
