We can't help. Changing the serial number is usually an attempt to get around stolen device blacklists.

I suggest either taking it to the provider with proof of identity and purchase and getting it removed from the blacklist, or taking it back to the seller and requesting a refund.

Alternatively, if you found it somewhere, hand it in to the police.

dude as far as i know the esn number is a unique number attached w/ the phone yes it is possible for you to have it changed go to a phone repair shop. but if you want to activate the phone w/ virgin mobile they may not recognize your device because those electronic serial number are the one they associated with the phone so when customers call to have it activated they just ask for the esn so they can give out plans you can use the phone with
