How do I connect/convert my antenna (Mohu Leaf) via HDMI cables to my TV?

Note: HDMI cable runs from a closet (where my cable box was located) to TV and it would be a big project to connect antenna directly to the TV.

I can easily run antenna coax to the closet where HDMI cable is located but I can't figure out hardware/connector required to connect cable to hdmi.

You don't connect the antenna to HDMI. Doing so would serve no purpose and the signals are not compatible.

To use the antenna, you need to use coax to connect to the intended receiver.

If you do not want to wire a cable directly to the TV, you can always buy a ATSC tuner, which is like a cable box, but you connect your Mohu Leaf antenna directly to.
This model for example has an HDMI output:

Connect the antenna to the "Antenna IN" on this box, then connect the HDMI cable to the "HDMI output" towards your TV set.

If you were able to run a long HDMI cable... running a coax a major undertaking? No comprendo.
