How do I get sound from LG tv to Toshiba sound bar when connected to the internet

I’m getting sound using the cable
Box onto the Toshiba sound bar but once I switch over to Netflix or Hulu there’s no sound. Is there a separate cable or way to connect the two? It seems odd that sound is working for one but not the other. Help

Some TVs do that, don't ask me why. Your fix: TV ----(toslink/headphone_out)---->SB.

Toslink allows multi-channel, headphone_out stereo only.
