How do I reconnect to NVIDIA Gpu again?

So first,I'm gonna tell you what broke my laptop.My grandfather used the laptop(as always)then he told me that the screen in the computer screen and laptop screen goes black suddenly.(Yes,we use two screen.Computer monitor is more favorable than laptop screen because it's bigger.)And so,when I used the laptop in the morning,(Oh and one more thing,it happened at May 6 2016,midnight)suddenly, both screens won't sync!Laptop's screen won't work anymore if the computer screen was plugged before turning on the laptop,and vice versa.It's very complicated to repair this for me,and that was the time I noticed that NVIDIA Control panel might help.BUT it didn't.It says "you are not currently attached to an Nvidia gpu"and I don't know how to fix this!I upgraded my Nvidia geforce gt 630m by downloading but it still didn't help!

(That is not the main problem.There's more to it.I can't play any games anymore because of that.Before,I was playing Aura Kingdom and my fps would be 30-40 fps.but now,it became 2-5fps.That's why I need your help for this.Thank you so much for replying and helping me.)

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First, do open the laptop and check if the GPU is seated properly onto the motherboard (if not soldered) and apply new thermal paste on it as well.
- Next is to do a clean install of the GPU driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once completely uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.

- Reboot the laptop once the latest drive has been installed.
- After the reboot do test it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.
- If all these will not work the problem lies into the GPU itself.

With some laptops, the nVidia video card may only work on the laptop screen, the external ones would run off the onboard Intel chip.

If things did work normally before a certain date, try going restoring the system to a date before the issue starting using a Restore Point, there may have been some Windows or other update that broke the video drivers function.

Oh no problem now guys thank you also for the tips.Actually,it's working properly now plus control panel will open now.I don't know what my grandpa did,but he fixed it and he doesn't also know what he did to repair it.
