How do I retrieve deleted Facebook messages?

I was talking to someone who is not on my friend's list, but with whom I have had a conversation for over a year, and suddenly the entire conversation was deleted, not by any action of his or mine---if I inadvertently touched something wrong, I want the conversation back! Please help me! One other conversation was deleted at the same time, but since she is on my friend list, she kept on talking on the chatline, and did not even notice that the conversation was deleted---only I did. I am thinking of creating a new account, just so I can talk to Ahmed!

Ask Facebook, not us. I really doubt that anything put on Facebook is truly gone, they could probably dig up the conversation.

You can not recover Facebook messages. Once you delete the messages, it can not be undone.
